The Royal Kona Resort's Oceanfront Luau!
Join the fun each Monday, Friday and Saturday evening as we present Tihati Productions' "Drums of Polynesia" luau and revue, a fast-paced, entertaining musical journey through the islands of the South Pacific. Featuring a talented cast of singers, drummers, musicians and dancers. Our celebration includes a traditional lei greeting, Imu ceremony and torchlighting, a spell-binding Samoan fireknife dance, along with Kailua-Kona's premier all-you-can-eat Polynesian buffet with open bar.

Show commences at 5:30pm, completed at 8:30pm

Island Breeze Lu'au

The Island Breeze Lu'au is held on the beachfront of historic Kamakahonu Bay and the grounds of Ahu'Ena, Kamehameha the Great's former estate at Kailua Kona, in the grounds of King Kamehameha Hotel. It is within easy walking distance ofmany visitor accommodations. Validated parking is available to lu'au guests at the King Kamehameha Hotel parking. A backdrop of passing fishing boats and paddlers in ourtirgger canoes, the lights of kona and Mount Hualalai add to the charm of the Lu'au.

LU'AU SCHEDULE
Every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evening.

5:30pm Shell lei greeting, photo taking, arts and crafts
6:00pm Torchlighting, Royal Court arrival, Imu Ceremony
Open bar 6pm - 8pm
6:30pm Lu'au dinner buffet
7:30pm Island Breeze Polynesian Revue
8:30pm Lu'au ends

Morning of the Lu'au, guests may view placing of pig in Imu at 10:15am at lu'au site.
